Tea for Three

On Saturday, we had a busy morning - since I have to travel to San Diego for a conference next week, we gave your Daddy the morning off to run some errands in the city. While Daddy went to the comics store and also bought some new sensitive skin soap and lotion for his face, we also ran errands and went to Costco. We met Daddy for brunch at Danal -- you missed your morning nap (again) and fell asleep just minutes before we arrived at Danal. We enjoyed a nice brunch - as we were finishing, you woke up and we fed you scrambled eggs with a few bites of grilled salmon. You always have a good appetite - we sat next to another family and you were so much bigger than their daughter who was 10 months old.

On Sunday, your Daddy wanted to go for proper tea so we headed to the T Salon. We ordered the Afternoon Tea for Two which included two small pots of tea and three tiers of goodies (scones on the top, sandwiches with the crusts cut off in the middle, and a plate of cookies with nuts and fresh fruit on the bottom).

Daddy tried to feed you a slice of strawberry but it was too tart. Mommy loves alll types of fruits - your Daddy was shocked that I did not scarf up the entire plate of fruit and even passed on the green grapes.
You enjoyed playing in the booth corner and gnawing on a baguette.
After brunch, we went to Daddy's office in midtown so that he could drop off his new wireless keyboard. Daddy has a beautiful window office overlooking Central Park - what an amazing view!
