Mommy's Gone To Israel

Last night mommy left for Israel after you went to bed. You woke up early at 4AM today crying. You went looking for mommy in the bedroom after I changed your diaper and you were sad to see her gone. I fed you some milk and you went back to bed again. Lucky for me you woke up at 8AM. Shortly after, FreshDirect delivered our groceries and you had fun in the boxes as usual.


I fed you a banana and some milk and then we played around the house for a while.


At around 10 we got dressed up to go to Starbucks for coffee and Almondine's for pastries. You were happy to go outside.


I fed you some bread in Starbucks and I let you walk all the way home. You were very excited. When we got home I changed you out of your clothes but I thought you looked cute in this getup and decided to take a picture. You look like some kind of Nordic superhero.


I let you play up on the kitchen counter. You know the words for sink and soap so you wanted to touch them while you were up there.


We also played hide and go seek behind the chair.


I pretended to sneeze which you always think is funny. We also watched some videos on Google video and You Tube. We found some videos of giraffes and cows and elephants and cats. It's one of the first times you've ever seen real moving footage of those things.


And of course we played in your lego truck. You took a nasty tumble today too. You like climbing on your baby stroller and today you flipped right over the top. I thought you really hurt yourself because I heard a crack as you came down on the table legs but you didn't cry long so I think it wasn't bad. You went down around 8:40 after we read some books and practiced your numbers (you pretty much know 0-9 now).
