Daddy's Hat

These days you have more coordination and understand a few words; in fact you know how to do some basic signs for milk (open/close fist), food (put hand to mouth), more (putting hands together), and all done (show hands with palms up). This makes it easier for Mommy and Daddy to figure out what you want since you can only say a few words like baby, wow, mom/mama, dad/daddy. Your Daddy is a bit upset because whenever you say Dad, it sounds like you are yelling "DAD!" You babble all of the time trying to talk but we don't know what you are saying - someday it will sound like words instead of just babbling.

This morning, Girlie will arrive late so I am home working and watching you play with all of your toys. You like to dance whenever the music is on - sometimes you sway side to side but the bouncing baby is your favorite move. You still like to push the furniture and big toys around the house. When you are done rearranging the apartment, then you go to your favorite spot which is standing near the bookshelf and pulling out all of your books.
In the first cubicle are some hats - you put one on today all by yourself. It was quite cute.

These days you imitate whatever Mommy, Daddy and Girlie are doing. Last night you tried to put a dirty diaper into the Diaper Champ, but you did not want to let it go. Also, whenever there is a shirt or pants on the daybed, you toss them around your shoulders like a scarf. You also like to share your food and try to feed us like we feed you. You even share your favorite foods like Cheerios, veggie puffs and blueberries. What a nice girl.

Yesterday I brought home an old keyboard from the office so that you can bang on it as much as you want. Whenever Daddy or I are using our laptops, you try to sneak around to punch the keyboard so we decided that you need one all for yourself.

You also like to play with your piano/xylophone - actually you prefer to put the two red sticks in your mouth and sometimes you bang on the keys.
