Brrrrrrr

Today was cold. It hasn't been this cold in a while. And very windy too. I was freezing when I went to get my coffee this morning.

While mommy went to workout today you scrambled into the kitchen while I was on the computer. When I finally walked around to find out what you were up to I saw this. You've slowly been learning to put things back in drawers after you take them out. Unfortunately these water bottles were never in the drawer in the first place. And it certainly wasn't going to close correctly. Mommy had a good laugh when she returned.

In the morning we went back to 5 Ninth (our new favorite brunch place). Mommy wanted to get the bahn mi sandwich I had last weekend and I wanted another one. We also ordered a bowl of congee with lamb and poached egg. It was very very good. We fed you some and you liked it too. After brunch we headed up to see Amy, Greg, Jeffrey, Jackson, and Roger. Jackson and Jeffrey are to young-uns like you. To get up there though we had to transfer on the A-C line over to the 1-9. We do that at West 4th Station. Inside the station are lots of amazing sculptures. Here's one of them. I don't know who did the sculptures or why they are there. They are kind of creepy (because they are stuck to the floor and ceilings and walls like bugs) but also very funny (because they are mainly cartoony looking characters). I'm not sure what to make of this one. It looks like a pay phone that is eating (or regurgitating) a little man.

I've actually flipped this photo upside down. It's actually stuck to the ceiling. It's like some cartoon man in a robot suit or something.

This one is right below it. It's like a chipmunk sitting on a bag of pennies and he's eating one.

Here we are at Munsell's condo in the Upper West Side. See that messy floor behind you? That was clean before you, Jeffrey, and Jackson (he's the one behind you and mommy) got a hold of Jeffrey's box of toys.

Here's Roger and Jackson. Roger's wife was out of town for the day so he was on his own.

Here's Amy on the left. You are giving a toy knife to Jackson. Not sure what you two have planned.

Here's Jeffrey and Jackson. Jeffrey is a very nice boy. He let you two play with all his toys and he didn't complain at all.

And here's the real reason we went up - a new baby. You kept saying "baby" when you saw baby Caroline (that's your aunt's name too). Look how tiny she is compared to you. You were even smaller than that when you were her age because she was a big baby. Now you are three times that weight.

And finally they started shooting that Audi commercial. It's for some new SUV. I think I saw that it was called the Q7. The guys by the cone (in a red and white jacket) are filming from the road and you can see the SUV zooming off down the road.
