Zlatka is from Bulgaria and has two kids, 19 and 21, who attend UW. I think you are one of Zlatka's favorite kids at daycare, and you really like to play with her too.

We missed Zlatka on our last trip to Seattle in December right before Christmas. Zlatka brought you a Christmas present - it was a snowflake ornament with your photo in the middle and a book (Where is Spot?). You loved reading your new book.

When I told Zlatka about your diarrhea last night, she told me I should mix together formula and milk in a bottle and slowly transition you off of formula. Girlie also mentioned this yesterday morning, so starting Saturday when we are back at home in NY, we will mix 2oz milk with 4oz formula. Each week we will add another ounce of milk until you are weaned off of formula. Hopefully this way your tummy will tolerate the transition to whole milk.
Before I left for dinner, we played for a little while and showed Zlatka where all of your things were. Zlatka fed you dinner, gave you a bath, and played with you before bedtime. She said you were very tired so she put you down early. You were sound asleep when I got home around 10:30pm.

Erik, Katie and I enjoyed a very nice dinner at a private dining club in Queen Anne called The Ruins. I ate oysters rockefeller, scallops and a flourless chocolate cake for dessert. We couldn't believe the chocolate cake was flourless - it was not dense like most flourless chocolate cakes. We asked the chef who told us it was made with egg whites whipped with cream of tartar which made the cake rise (so I guess it is similar to a souffle?)
