You look like your marking your territory here no? Actually you learned a new trick. How to climb up on the day bed. Wonderful. As soon as you climbed up you decided to stand right up. And as I came to you, you started to walk towards me. Not good. Fortunately no babies were hurt during the shooting.

Here's how you do it. Step 1. Knee up on the table. Tongue out like Michael Jordan to increase your athletic ability. Bring a book along in case you feel like reading up on the table.

Step 2. Use your superhero monkey-like toe grip as well as the patented Bladerunner building climbing technique (obscure reference) to hoist your center of mass up. All the time maintaining proper tongue form.

Step 3. Lift up remaining leg and inspect small piece of something located on the table. Poke at it with finger. Retrieve tongue.

Step 4. Perform 'Downward Dog' yoga maneuver to raise hips up. Peer over side of table to show you are not scared of heights.

Step 5. Settle down into a "Kim Chi Squat". Extend arms for added balance. Extend tongue again if needed.

Step 6. Extend legs and freak daddy out.

I taught you something else yesterday and today you are pretty good at it. You hold the see-through canister in your hand and I hand you the balls. Then you put them in one by one. Not bad.

You also learned to put some of the shapes back into the mat. You haven't shown this kind of dexterity until recently. I think the walking has taught you some muscle control.

And while I was watching you put those pieces back in you made your move. The ubiquitous camera lunge. You almost had me this time.

Next we took a picture together for mommy.

And then we finished the night with your milk, your leg massage, and your plopping down face first into the boppy. You like to peer over at me when you do this. This is a good shot of what I usually see at the end of the night.

Good post, Daddy. I just woke up - it's 7am in Paris (1am in New York) so you both must be fast asleep. . .unless your Daddy has insomnia again and is staying up watching movies or reading his new comic books. I bet he is exhausted from working at home and watching you all day long. What a treat that you were able to spend the whole day with Daddy. I am flying home in a few hours. I woke up early so that I can walk around the city and have a nice breakfast before the flight. Maybe I will take a few more shots of Paris and post them later. Sweet dreams, little Miss Sophia.
