Two Down, Two To Go

Tonight we read the paper. Actually we didn't. This is just you pulling the New York Times off the side table. You had a lot of fun with the paper. Tore it to shreds!

Once everything was on the floor you proceeded to push it around the room and tear it up. That side table behind you looks like a halo.

And then of course you spotted the camera and went lunging. I'm onto your game.

We played with your Sit & Spin which has toys all around a chair in the middle. Your mom calls it "The Office". You don't like using the chair because you know when we put you in that we need to leave the room for a while to do something. Nobody likes to be abandoned, so we just played from the outside.

You love this 'book' that's on the S&S. You love books! You definitely have daddy's genes. You could sit and look and flip books for hours. Today we went through a Doctor Seuss book and you laughed at each page.

I love this photo for some reason. You always look cute when you're looking up.

And then back to the paper. You actually farted when I took this. You love to fart. You laugh now when you do it. And then I laugh which eggs you on. I'm sure your mom is rolling her eyes as she reads this.

I didn't get a picture but you were also banging your head against the wall. You sit against the wall and hit the back of your head against the wall. Mommy hates this. You also learned a new trick today. You learned that you can grab my hands and push them together to make a clapping sound. You like doing this more than just doing it on your own. You laughed and laughed. I tried the "Give me 5" thing again and you did it, no problem. Smart girl.

I can't believe your daddy wrote that you enjoy farting!

I just got home from dinner at Melinda/John/Cate Lewison's house - Jackie/Craig and their 7 month old son Oscar also came. I had to hold Oscar since I was baby-less. It's too bad Daddy and you weren't there too. Cate is 20 months old - you have met Cate a few times: in the hospital when you were only a day or two old and a few months ago we went on their boat for a cruise around Lake Washington.

One more night and I will be home - Yippee! Big hug and a kiss to you both.
