We landed around 4pm and went to visit Som & Tanya - they were so excited to see you walk around their apartment. Auntie Tanya bought you a cute colorful book about Pike Place Market - where Mommy and Daddy used to go every week for fresh fruits, veggies and fish when we lived in Seattle. You also did not cry around Tanya - PHEW! I think you are finally over any kind of stranger anxiety.

We called Daddy to say hello - you just wanted to eat the phone.

Here is Tanya reading your new book to you.

Then Mommy wanted to read the book too.

Before we left, Som wanted you to try on his new sunglasses - you look like an ad for an old movie called 'Risky Business.'

Instead of staying at a hotel, we stayed with Junehee & Hoon Cho and their 16-month old son, Brandon. Junehee is the older sister of Mommy's friend, Eunhee Choi - Eunhee and Mommy used to work as investment banking analysts in New York City. The Chos live in Kirkland which is very close to Mommy's office. We stayed in Brandon's room and you slept in his crib - that was very nice of them to offer us their house.

As soon as we arrived, Brandon and you were busy playing with all of his toys. . . then Eunhee read you two a book called "Are You My Mother?"

Junehee made us a yummy dinner of tilapia, rice and bok choy. I put you down in your crib upstairs but you cried and cried - probably overtired and overstimulated from all of Brandon's toys and also because it was an unfamiliar place. I checked on you every 10-15 minutes and tried to calm you down but everytime I left the room, you woke up and started to cry again. Finally after 45 minutes, you fell asleep. Poor baby.
