Santa’s Gifts

Today is Christmas – you woke up early around 6AM because you had a wet diaper so I quickly changed you. Luckily you fell back asleep in bed with us. We all woke up around 8AM. You made the sign for 'milk' so I made you a bottle and fed you in bed. Lucky girl.

We dressed you in a cute red dress and then we brought out all of the presents. You opened them one by one but needed some help because you were getting distracted with all of the cameras. First you opened up the package with two new board books.

Next you opened up the gift bag with a big Winnie the Pooh stuffed animal – it is nearly as big as you are.
Then you opened up a new Sing-Along Pooh book.
Daddy helped you open up the box with a piano/xylophone – I think Daddy will have fun playing with that new toy too. Finally Daddy helped you open up the LeapFrog learning table. You can see you're holding your ducky. You like to sleep with that ducky. For now it seems to be your 'security blanket'.
You loved playing with all of your new toys but then you started to get sleepy. We put you down for a nap. Mommy went for a run on the boardwalk while Daddy relaxed and watched TV. We don’t have cable TV at home so he gets sucked into the TV whenever we are on vacation.

For lunch, we ate some broccoli and cheese quiche. Then Daddy started to prepare our dinner while we went out for a walk on the beach – we took a few pictures on the boardwalk and watched the seagulls feast on some bread.
