Up to Rye

Today we went up to Rye to see your mom's friend Katie and her husband Matt and their baby Cassidy. Rye is north of New York City. It's not like the city where there is concrete and buildings everywhere. They have trees and grass all around. Here you are with Cassidy playing in their living room.


Here is everyone's big pose for the camera. They had a lot of nice toys to play with and a big playarea. If you look behind Katie, they even have the same Exersaucer as you.


Lots of space to crawl around, huh? And a nice big carpet so you don't hurt yourself on the ground.


This was one of your favorite toys. It's a Hungry Hungry Hippos Hippo. You could stand up and push it along and it would scoop up smaller toys from the carpet.


We also went out for a swing on the swings. You haven't been in one of these since Minnesota. We also went on a roundabout but I was worried you might get dizzy and a little sick.


Here I am trying to make you laugh like I did in Minnesota. I would push you and you would swing right up to my face.


Weeeee! Even though it is November and it should be cold, it is very very warm outside. It must have been 70 degrees today. Sometimes there is snow on the ground at this time of the year. How do you like your outfit? Very sassy all in black. I kept referring to it as your 'Kill Bill' outfit; Katie nick-named you 'Ninja Girl.' And the leaves were very pretty too. They were changing color - all red, yellow, and brown. This is daddy's favorite type of shot by the way. Closeup on you and people in the back out of focus. And no one looking at the camera.
