Here you are coming out of the bath tub. Look at that gut! You've been eating a lot lately but you are still in the 50th percentile on weight.

When mommy was in Norway she bought you some nice new clothes. Our favorite is this cute hat that you wear now that it is cold outside. You get quite a lot of attention from everyone when you have it on.

We had Thanksgiving dinner this year over at Lisa and Steve's - two friends of mommy that just moved back to NY from Washington DC. We made the food at our house and then brought it over to their apartment in Tribeca in the city. Here you are sitting on the couch and playing with the remote. You love remotes about as much as you love cell phones and Starbucks coffee cups. One funny thing that happened is you pressed the channel button and it kept changing channels until it stopped on the Korean channel.

I'm not sure what I'm doing here. Almost looks like a magic trick like I'm trying to make you disappear.

Here's Lisa. She's pregnant and due any day now although you can't tell from this picture. You used to be terrified by her when you were younger. Now you have no problem being around her.

Here are the men prepping the food in the kitchen. That's Steve, Lisa's husband. And you can see the turkey down in the corner.

Here I am carving the turkey. I've just removed the drumsticks.

Here I am carving the breast. As you can see I'm a little precise about how I do this. I have my very own patented turkey carving technique that puts other dads to shame.

Here's the finished product. We have (going clockwise) turkey, cranberry sauce, potatoes au gratin with asiago, green bean casserole, stuffing, salad (fennel, cucumber, endive, and frisee), and creamed spinach. It was very good. I made this for your mother when we first met and she was very impressed.

It really doesn't matter whose house you are at, you love to take dvds out of boxes. Here I am stacking up your handy work.

Here's the obligatory famliy shot. She how your mom has a red face? She's not embarrassed. She's slightly allergic to the alcohol in the wine she was drinking. I don't get red at all. I wonder if your face will get red.

And here is Steve and Lisa. Next year maybe we'll have a picture with them and their baby.

We went to see Toshi and Nicole this weekend too. Here you are over at Toshi's. You look cute in your hoodie and flowered jeans.

Here you are with Toshi. That's a pretty cool shirt huh? It looks like it's all kinds of colors.

And here's Nicole. You were so happy to have so much room to practice your walking. You also blew a few kisses, waved goodbye, and shaked your head yes and no. What a showoff!

Everyone likes when I do this. You sit in my hands and I roll your body around while keeping your head in the same place. You seem to like it too. If you blow up the picture you can see me doing my evil red eye laser beam. This is what keeps you balanced on my hands as I move you around.

I haven't dropped you yet.

What a bad daddy. Making you walk by tempting you with your favorite snack.

I'm not sure what you are doing here but it's something funny. You probably tumbled over while trying to walk to Nicole.

Toshi and Nicole bought you a nice new toy when we were over at their house. It's hard to tell but it's a big frog. He has a tiny crown like he's a prince turned into a frog and he has a little bug inside his red mouth which you can see here. That's a nice shot of your two bottom teeth too.

The frog was quickly discarded this morning when you saw I had the camera out and you had to make your usual lunge for it.

You got close this time but no cigar. Better luck next time.

Here you are posing with the froggie.
