Don't forget to check the comments. Mommy is writing little notes to you while she's away. Today was daddy's first day to get up with you without mommy. It went pretty well. Although I like it better when mommy's around. It's a lot easier. It's a lot of work to get ready for work and make sure you are fed and changed. You had a very good nights sleep even though some more fireworks went off last night. I don't know what they are for. They went off a few days ago as well. Allison came by at 7 and I popped off for work. No problem!
Everything went well during the day. But you still had no poops. I think maybe the food is throwing your digestive system some curve balls and it doesn't know how to react. But you ate all the carrots that Allison fed to you today. And she gave you a bath too although you kind of look a little greasy in the photo above. It rained a bit today which caused it to cool off a little. It's been awfully hot lately, and I think it's a little easier for you if it's cooler.
Before putting you to sleep I took two photos of us off of the reflection in the mirror. I just put you to bed. You had your last nap quite late tonight so I wasn't sure if you would go down to sleep very easily but you did. I fed you once when you got up from your nap and a little more just before I put you in your crib. I think you know mommy's not around anymore. You kept looking around while I was feeding you. Almost like you were expecting her to come out of a room somewhere. It's Wednesday night now and she is back on Friday. So you have two more nights to go.

Just found out there is wireless available in the game room here at Sun Mountain Lodge (where our team offsite is taking place).
No poops - it must be uncomfortable! Poor baby. I spoke to Allison briefly yesterday and she told me you ate all of the carrots but not a single bite of the rice cereal. The rice cereal does not look very good - maybe you already have gourmet tastebuds like your daddy.
Counting down the hours until I see you. . .I think of you a lot esp since I am pumping breastmilk (and unfortunately dumping it down the sink!). I can't wait to see you late tomorrow night - I might have to wake you up when I get home just to snuggle for a minute.
I just had to take another peak at your photos during our lunch break. Instead of doing the scavenger hunt this morning, I opted to get a facial and prep for a conf call.
We are so lucky your dad likes to blog so much so that I can see pictures of you everyday while I am away.
For lunch, I had a turkey sandwich and some pasta salad plus I just ate a brownie - yummy! Your daddy always makes fun of me b/c he thinks I am a carb-addict. He insists that we keep you away from carbs when you grow up -- somehow I'll have to sneak a few carbs in when he isn't looking :)
Two more days of carrots - then on Saturday, we're going to feed you pureed green beans. You might like them too!
